At the Georgia Department of Labor, we're focused on service to our customers. Whether we're helping the unemployed find a job or change careers, recruiting and referring to small businesses the workers they need to compete, or providing Georgians with disabilities with the assistance and tools they need, our goal is the same: to help Georgians achieve their full potential.

We are also focused on innovative, sound management of Georgia's Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund. Over the past seven and a half years, our approach has enabled us to maintain one of the best fund solvency ratings in the nation, while cutting employer taxes by $1.4 billion and raising the maximum weekly unemployment benefit from $240 per week to $320 per week.

Finally, we continue to work with our workforce development and educational partners here in Georgia to build a world-class workforce better able to compete in the global economy.
